On 1^st of November 2016 the European cooperative research project, LEDLUM, officially started. By developing the world’s smallest Light Engine, LEDLUM targets to establish Europe as the world leading innovator in SSL solutions. LEDLUM is committed to make a major innovation step in overall solid-state lighting engines by reduction of size, material costs, energy losses and an increasing lifetime. The LEDLUM consortium consists of 7 partners from 4 different countries (Austria, Denmark, France and Ireland) who will support the project success with their know-how and expertise.
